You are obviously going to have to use the google docs, Book 1, Book 2, and Book 3, but not everyone finds those to be the most comfortable reading environment. While you can make do with those, you might also use the version at faeriequeene.org, or, hopefully the campus bookstore can sell you a copy of the Penguin paperback version of the text, edited by Thomas P. Roche.
The cover of the Roche version will look like the image below. That text has apparati that you would find helpful as you read the poem, besides which reading hard copy seems to embed the text in memory better that does reading from a screen. So I recommend you buy the book, but I'll leave the decision to you.
