Web Page Design

We will do a lesson in class on creating web pages with HTML Assistant Pro 97 but if you'd like to get a head start, here are some suggestions.

HTML Assistant Pro 97 is found on your computer by clicking on Start, going to Local Applications, choosing HTML Assistant Pro 97, then clicking on Pro 97.

You can figure out quite a bit by getting into the program, then clicking on Help, then Help Topics, then Contents. Look at the Beginners' Guide to HTML and Creating Your First HTML Document and try a few things.

There are also several helpful sites on the web for HTML "rookies". Click here to go to one.

The design of your web page is up to you, but make sure you include these:

your name and a picture of you. Click here for help with scanning your photo.
a brief biography and /or resumé.
at least five links related to your career aspirations or other interests.
your email address and/or school address.
