| If you miss more than two classes, your final grade will be substantially reduced. If you anticipate needing to miss more than two classes, consult with the professor, in person, within the first ten days of the term. Those who contribute more to classroom discussion, provided their contributions are on topic and informed by the relevant, assigned readings, will in all cases earn a higher grade than they would otherwise, and in some cases are liable to earn a higher grade than can be earned by those who write well but do not regularly contribute. | ||
