Faith Will be Overcome by Logic

This kinetic poem by Robert Kendall talks about what faith is and how it is stronger than logic. It is presented in several different stages, each one expanding on the definition of faith. In the first stage the word 'logic' falls and bounces off the word 'faith', then the sentence "logic can't bend this" appears. This shows that faith can overcome and is stronger than logic. If someone truly believes something, then no amount of reasoning will convince him or her differently. Subsequent stages add words that expand on this idea. The final stage shows all the words and the title falling to the bottom of the page, leaving only the words "just to sum up faith."

The title "Faith" is the only word in a different font. It is a style typically associated with the Bible, which shows the common idea that faith is related to religion and that people can have faith in things that are not scientifically proven. This supports the main idea that people can have faith in things that are not logically sound.

The idea of faith is not something that can be taken lightly, and it is said that the idea is ultimate. Logic can be done away with and things do not have to make sense if a person has enough faith.
