The following are photos of the math fair held at Wolfville Junior High School on March 24th, 2006.  These pictures represent some of the projects from the grade nines and grade sevens of the school as well as projects created by Education students at Acadia University (for a grade nine level to be used in the Math Fair).

Math Games

The above game was designed to be a math game in French.

This math game is entitled Magic Squares.

This math game is a combination of originality with some parts of popular games. 

This math game was designed without being based on another game.
 

This game, MathTrap, was based off the popular MouseTrap.

This game is a French math game, entitled Equation. 

The above is a French math game called Jeu de Pizza

This French math game tests your brains, entitled Teste Ton Cerveau.

This game uses circuits and lights up a light bulb when you connect two objects that match.

This station looked into Math games and included some Math stories for people to read.

This game was created to be similar to Jeopardy but with a math twist.

Math Puzzles

This was an interactive puzzle using pentominos, something a lot of students have had interaction with in the classroom.

This was an interactive puzzle using tangrams.  Students had to try and fit tangrams into puzzles that this student created.
